Girly bows for your girly girl!

When I was approached by Michelle of Binga Bows to do a review, I almost said no, seeing that I haven 't given birth to any girls yet, just boys. As cute as my 3.5 year old would be with a colorful flower in his hair... I decided to give the bows to my sister-in-law, Melanie. My favorite thing about the bows, from the second we opened them, was the vibrant colors, quality material and the way they're put-together. Her favorite thing was the fact that they stayed in Macelynn's hair! They were the first bow she's come across that didn't slide out within minutes of being put in! What excitement that was! So, know that if your little girl has super-fine hair, the bows from Binga Bows may just work! There are five fabulous styles Binga Bows has to offer: Binga Bows, Binga Blossoms, Binga Clippies, Binga Beanies/headbands (perfect for your brand-new baby that may not have a lot of hair to clip a bow to!) and Binga Bow Holders. When I let Michelle know I'd love to review her bows, I couldn't believe how quickly she got the package to my home! It came packaged wonderfully, in a pretty fancy schmancy tissue paper stuffed box. It was fun to open it, looking at each beautiful bow as I took it out. Macelynn, my niece, looks absolutely fabulous in them. They match her girly personality perfectly! If you ever need super adorable, colorful, well-made bows for your daughter, and at a super affordable price, Binga Bows is the way to go! ♥ Also, if you're concerned about not finding one that matches your baby girls' new outfit, don't be concerned any longer! She offers a CUSTOM design service too!

As an avid cinnamon-flavoring LOVER, I have eaten and liked many different cinnamon flavored everything: hard candies, suckers, bears, gum, and Salt Water Taffy. Nothing, and I do mean nothing (with the exception of if somebody were to lick the lid of cinnamon flavoring oil), comes even CLOSE to being as delicious, chewy, and best of all: HOT and CINNAMON-Y as Jelly Belly Unbearably Hot Cinnamon Bears! They're my new addiction. After a trip to your Chicago factory 3 weeks ago, where I purchased two bags, I discovered and ate these bears for the first time. I'm hooked. Where have they been my whole life?! Jelly Belly has created a product that not only tastes perfectly wonderful, but is packaged fabulously and is a reasonable price too!

Sweet Ruby Blankets

July 07, 2009 4 Comments

When I opened the mail I got from April of Sweet Ruby on Etsy (also at www.sweetrubyblankets.com), I could have never been more happy! A onesie, a pacifier clip and a binky blanket is what I found, as I excitedly tore into the packaging. I was instantly sucked in by the cuddly softness of the Binky Blanket. The soft as butter "minky" fabric was not only adorable and perfectly boyish ("Blueberry Chocolate" *squeal!* doesn't that sound good enough to eat?!), but it was oh-so-soft! I'd be happy with a pillow made out of Binky Blankets! Holden absolutely loves his, especially when he's tired. Now, instead of scratching my arm to bits like a cat claws a pole... he can cuddle/scratch at his immensley soft blanket! PLUS, we all know how bad it sucks to lose a binky in the middle of the night, right? Not when you have it clipped on to this! The perfect-sized, 14 x 14 inch panel of fabric makes it easy to find the pacifier, even if it's 3:00 am and there isn't a single light on. Baby doesn't take a binky? No prob. You'll be happy to know that the loop on it is big enough (and perfect) for snapping it to any type of "device" that carries your kiddo, so he/she will always have his/her lovey with them! Stroller, carseat, snugli carrier, bouncy seat, I even attached mine to Holden's swing! No lost blanket when we're at the mall. No lost blanket when we're in the car. No lost blanket when I'm at Target! It goes right on the handle of the cart. Brilliant!
So... an awesome blanket, woo. Woo is right... because that's not all I recieved from April. I was also given the chance to review (and boy has it been put to use!) a uber-cute binky clip. Sooooo much cuter than those other boring ones. No more fighting with those stinkin' alligator clips and acrylic nails! It simply opens and shuts. That's it. No pulling, no cursing, no struggling... easy to open, easy to close. Holden loves it, cause his bink is never far. I love it cause his bink is never far AND, with an adorable chocolate-brown-with-white-polka-dots pattern, it matches ANYTHING he wears!

Now, I can't wait for the day that he can wear that flippin' adorable elephant onesie! Whew, you're thinking, what an awesome business! She makes binky blankets and pacifier clips. Just wait until you see everything else this so-incredibly talented mama makes!

So, now that you know all the cutie-patootie things she makes, go on over, and check out Sweet Ruby Blankets!

*If you happen to be in the Utah area (or even if you're not!) make sure you go check out Crazi Beautiful Women, where they're featuring April!*

Fun + Funky + Modern = Eenamaria

May 07, 2009 0 Comments

When I got my eenamaria bag in the mail, I would have never guessed it would be near as attractive or large as it was! I mean, a bag is a bag, right? Wrong! Eenamaria bags boast an exterior of luxuriously shiny vinyl and a bold eye-catching red lined interior. You can’t tell me that’s not unique! Not only is my new eenamaria Workin' Weekend Baby Tote colorful (I chose this one, decked in white, black, green & blue colors.) but it’s totally functional too! I was completely taken aback at the amount of baby (and mama) items I was able to take with me (in it’s 31.5" linear measuring interior) when we went to my husband’s soccer game yesterday afternoon. Quite frankly, I think my husband may have been too. The fact that I didn't have my purse with me all day surprised him, and, much to my excitement, because it's "attractive" he didn't mind carrying it for me!

It's vinyl makes it a perfect diaper bag when you have messy kids. My son got his cracker-and-milk-gone-cottage-cheese-spit-up on the front of it. (He slobbered quite a bit too.) Any other bag (my current purse, for example) would absorb this lovely, wet, stinky liquid (if you can call it liquid) that came from his mouth. (Or his 3 year old brothers' melting popsicle residue!) But not this new tote. I wiped it right off! With a baby wipe. Nothing left! Not a drop.
The person behind the designing of the eenamaria purses, totes and accessories is Sarah Morgan. She describes the women who carry these trend-setting purses as “urban nomads”. With fun and very unique names such as: Mini-Take a Walk on the Wild Side, Murse or Purse or the I Mean Bizniss Travel Tote, there is a bag or tote for women from every walk of life. If you're a mom, a woman who loves fun, unique bags, or even a purse-o-holic like myself, eenamaria is for you.

Sarah recently debuted on QVC in February.

Bonnie Lee Designs

April 29, 2009 0 Comments
You wouldn't believe how beautiful the strip of fabric that I got in the mail a few days ago is! What is it, you're probably asking... Well... let me tell you!

I received a camera strap cover from Bonnie at Bonnie Lee Designs. I absolutely love it! It is made of high quality, intricate and oh-so-beautiful fabric. (The fabric is from the Michael Miller line and it's called Carnival Bloom.) I LOVE how unique my camera is now! It's no longer boring with it's yellow-lettered NIKON sprawled across the woven black strap. Instead, it's full of a chocolate brown based fabric, with a splash of gorgeously colored flowers! Pink! I love pink! Yellow! Green! All sorts of them. I am confident, that thanks to Bonnie's fabulous stitching job, it's not going to come apart on me for a VERY long time, and if it does, it will only be because I use my camera even more than I did before to flaunt the gorgeous fabric that's adorning it.

Bonnie was so much fun to work with, I found her on Etsy. She has a shop there, called SugarPlumBaby. Not only does Bonnie make and sell the beautiful camera strap covers, she also makes lens bags for your Digital SLR, photo props, burp cloths, bibs, and scarves, just to name a few. I am so stoked over my new camera strap cover, and as soon as I get a second lens to go with my Nikon, I am totally purchasing a new lens bag! :)

Bonnie is having a Mother's Day sale at her Etsy shop so make sure you go check it out. They're offering free shipping until May 10th.

You can get a sleeve for your DSLR just like mine here.

Bonnie of Bonnie Lee Designs/SugarPlumBaby is a fast, efficient, totally-truthfull seller. I would recommend her products to anyone!

The Graco Quattro Tour Duo Stroller (in the most playfull, bold red and chocolate brown colors, a.k.a.: The Bombay Pattern!)

March 11, 2009 0 Comments
As a mom of two boys (Beckham is 3 and Holden is 6 months.) a necessity of mine was to have a decent stroller with all the bells and whistles that made my life easier. I know, I know, I should have gone with "inexpensive" or "weighs a mere 17 pounds", but being that it's our first major stroller purchase, and it was Tax Return time, I went for the best. Top of the line. None other than Graco. We decided on the Graco Quattro Tour Duo. It is the smoothest riding stroller we tried out. Beautiful, bold colors. I loved the red. Instantly fell in love with the red/chocolate brown colors. There are so many things about the stroller that I love, I could type forever! Let me just share with you a basic break-down of my favorite features:

• Easy to unfold/fold
• Comfortable, cushy looking seats for my boys
• Smooth rolling wheels
• Easy to assemble (it took me no more than a half hour to have the whole thing put together, in the babies r us store at that!)
• Large storage basket. We currently bring with us on our stroller-using-trips: 1 large orange backpack. One rusty-colored mama's purse. One black good sized camera bag that has my Nikon in it.
• Good-sized storage pouch, cup holders, and tray. Perfect for all the random things we have with us: pacifier (Holden's), Blistex (mine), keys to the car, the iPod, Hubby's phone, my phone, sunglasses (usually dads, occasionally mine), various trucks or cars (Beckham's), drink (sometimes all three of us have one), bottle (Dad's Holden's).

So... in a nutshell, I love my stroller. My boys love their stroller. Even my hubby loves our stroller. The only downfall that I have, the ONLY negative thing I have is the fact that it's heavy. 45 pounds heavy. That's about 20 pounds too heavy for my 5' 2", 80 pound frame. :)

Haute Mamma!

February 18, 2009 0 Comments
Have you ever been at the park, clicked with a woman who's children happen to be newly-made best friends with your child(ren) and wanted to exchange information? Then you also, have probably dug through half-eaten tootsie rolls, 2 diapers, a pacifier, 3 toy cars, a snot-covered baby wipe and 1 chewed piece of gum in your disorganized purse-gone-diaper-bag only to come up with a Kiddie Kandids coupon and a dead pen. Well, never again will that happen to you! Once you own a set of the cutest, funky and totally fabulous mommy calling cards from hautemammas.com. Made of high-quality cardstock (with rounded corners too!) these cards are sure to impress.

Tiffany at Haute Mammas sent me a package full of all sorts of fabulous goodies to try out. There are SO many products available from Haute Mammas, you're bound to fall in love with even just one of the items on the site. I fell in love with nearly everything! They're completely customizable, so they're YOUR creation. Can I just tell you I cannot WAIT until 2011! Why, you ask? Well, that's when my son, Beckham will be in Kindergarten. I'll be able to send him to school with the cutest, "hautest", absolutely unique permission slips! Can't wait! The gift labels are so fun too, that your gift at the next party you attend will stand out among the rest of those boring "Happy Birthday!" cards!

Whether it's a Thank You card you're looking for, or some truly special and oh-so-unique address labels, Haute Mammas is the place to go!

See Kai Run and their big sister: Eleven!

January 21, 2009 21 Comments

Fabulously comfortable, eye-pleasing shoes = one fabulously happy little man!

My almost three-year-old son just gave a pair of See Kai Run shoes a test run! Beckham looked absolutely adorable in them. Next, came his new pair of shoes from See Kai Run's big sister: Eleven Collection. They're a branch-off of the same type, and highest quality shoes! I can't decide which pair are more adorable... the Boden from See Kai Run or the Kai from Eleven. They are both made of the best, softest feeling leather! According to my son, they're "soft on mine's feet" and "cool" looking. We went to get something for dinner, and he was more active then usual, running quite far from our cart. I asked him "Beckham... Why are you running so fast?" To which he replied: "Cause mine shoes are so fast. They're runny runny!" I about died laughing. They really are SO adorable and I'm totally pleased. They're so handsome on his feet. These shoes most definitely the highest-quality shoes Beckham owns! They're not just any regular shoe. They're absolutely adorable and so very eye-catching. Their style is unlike any I've seen before.

See Kai Run is an American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) accepted hand-crafted shoe store. Started in 2004, by a mom who was in need of hip, funky, yet safe shoes for her 2 year old son, Kai. In 2005, Nancy Coronado and Cause Haun met and became friends. That's when Eleven was born. Made of butter-soft leather, a breathable lining, and flexible rubber soles, See Kai Run and Eleven shoes are certain to make any little one (and mom) happy!

The folks over at See Kai Run put it best when describing the colors/styles available: Hip, urban styles in modern color palettes. That's exactly what you'll find when browsing through the sites. Whether it's the Clara, Sasha, Larkin or the Rio that grabs your attention, the catchy names have as much influence on your purchase as the bold colors that seem to be yelling out: "Pick Me! Pick Me!".

Don't you totally wish you could own a pair of the bold, funky, fabulously awesome shoes for your kiddos?! Well guess what? The people over at Eleven Collection have offered to give a FREE pair of their Fall Collection shoes to one lucky reader! Oh! That's not all! One lucky reader can also win a FREE pair of See Kai Run shoes! (From the See Kai Run or Smaller lines.)

Take a peek around at the sites. Make sure you stop by and sign up for their email newsletter to get updates and awesome deals! Come back here and let me know what pair caught your eye, something you love about the See Kai Run or Eleven line of footwear, and make sure you leave your email so I can contact you if you're our winner! Happy running!

*Please refer to the sizing chart to get a perfect fit for your kiddo!*

Happy feet = one happy mama!

January 16, 2009 1 Comments
I recently used Tip Toes by Foot Petals... they were amazing! I put them into my fave new pair of heels (you have a pair like them too... you know, the ones that you LOVE, they're adorable, but they KILL your feet???) I recommend them to all my lady friends! Whether you're wearing 4 inch heels or plain and simple ballet flats... Foot Petals are definitely for you! (And the women in your life!)

Here's a little bit from the website to give you an idea of what they are and how they work: Step in style with these flower-shaped ball-of-foot cushions and go from working all day to dancing the night away! Virtually invisible in all of your shoes, Tip Toes help prevent calluses from forming, protect bones and tissue, and cushion the sensitive ball-of-foot area. Try them with your hosiery to stop runs and prevent slipping and sliding. Make sure you check out their website: www.footpetals.com!
